Serves: ¾ cup
  • 2 tablespoons virgin coconut oil
  • 7oz bittersweet chocolate chips - roughly 1¼ cups chocolate chips
  1. Place the chocolate chips into a heatproof bowl set over a pan of simmering water. Melt the chocolate chips stirring frequently with a silicone spatula to prevent burning.
  2. Stir in the coconut oil and heat until dissolved, about 1 minute. Turn off the heat.
  3. Using a small ladle or spoon, pour the chocolate over an ice cream cone, or bowl of ice cream.
  4. The chocolate will harden into a shell within a few seconds.
  5. It's MAGIC!
  6. Got leftovers? Store chocolate in the refrigerator in a glass container. Reheat chocolate in a small pan over low heat via the stovetop, or in a small bowl via the microwave.
